What we do

We build the front door. Then we staff it.

Your website is the front door. We make it fast and AI-search-ready. Then the team keeps it staffed so calls, web leads, reviews, Google visibility, content, and ads and social do not leak away, and quiet leads and past customers come back.

Front Door Digital is an AI front-of-house for local home-services owners: a fast, AI-search-ready website plus AI teammates that answer calls, manage reviews, and keep your Google profile current. Start with your Front Door Score, then choose the build, teammates, or managed monthly plan that actually fits your shop.

70% of small business websites lack a clear call-to-action on their homepage (Clutch, citing Sweor, 2026-05).

The Build

The front door itself: a fast, AI-search-ready website.

A fast, AI-search-ready website: audit, GEO and SEO, full rebuild. This is the foundation every teammate works on top of.

Site rebuilds

A modern Next.js site built around real services, real proof, fast mobile load, and clear calls to action.

Own-it starter sites you keep forever, scoped on a 15-minute call. Managed monthly plans add the ongoing stack.

How we build it

What goes into every site we build.

Every page is built to do one job: turn a visitor into a call or a lead. Here is the structure under each one.

A

Conversion-first, not design-first.

Every page exists to do one of two things: collect a lead or trigger a phone call.

  • Sticky phone banner on every page, tappable on mobile
  • Inline lead form visible above the fold, no clicking required
  • H1 written as the actual phrase your customers Google, not a slogan
  • CTA repeated after every section, because attrition compounds as visitors scroll

The principle: a pretty site that doesn’t capture leads loses to an ugly site that does.

B

Trust signals, in order.

Real local proof, stacked the way the highest-converting brands stack it.

  • “As seen on” logo strip with Google, BBB, Angi, local press
  • Real customer testimonials matching the avatars you actually sell to
  • Customer map showing completed jobs across your service area
  • Owner intro section with a real photo on a job site, not a polo-shirt headshot
  • FAQ block with FAQ schema baked in for Google AI Overview citations

No stock photos. No AI-written body copy. No fake reviews. Real or it does not ship.

C

The right pages, written right.

Service pages, location pages, and reviews built so Google and ChatGPT can both find you.

  • One page per service you offer, with full conversion stack on each
  • One page per city or neighborhood, with unique copy for each (no duplicate content)
  • Schema markup on every page so AI search engines can quote your reviews
  • Mobile-first, server-rendered, fast on the first load

Built to win the mom on her phone in the kitchen, getting a couple quotes for her husband.

Why we build it this way

The modern stack a lot of the web’s heaviest hitters run on.

We build every Front Door Digital site on Next.js and Vercel, the modern stack a lot of the highest-traffic sites on the internet run on (including Nike, DoorDash, and Notion). For a local home-services owner, here is why that matters.

A

Speed equals leads.

When someone clicks your Google ad on their phone in their truck, you have about two seconds before they bail.

  • Only 40% of WordPress sites pass Google’s Core Web Vitals on mobile (Web Almanac 2024)
  • Modern stacks like Next.js are built for this, not patched into it
  • Google ranks faster sites higher, so speed compounds over time

Slow first paint is the difference between a quote request and a lead your competitor closed.

B

AI search is where customers start now.

Customers ask ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google AI “best plumber in [city]” and the AI reads your site to decide who to recommend.

  • Server-rendered HTML so AI can read every page
  • Full schema markup baked into every site, not bolted on
  • Your reviews and ratings become AI-citable, not invisible

WordPress and Squarespace can do this, but they fight you the whole way.

C

Nothing to hack.

An outdated plugin can let a WordPress site get hacked, and cleanup costs you time and money you should not have to spend while Google flags your site as compromised.

  • No plugins to update or patch
  • No database to attack
  • No “this site may be compromised” warning showing on your homepage

Your site stays online, your reviews stay safe, and you never get the call.

Typical WordPress build
  • WordPress sites often miss Google’s Core Web Vitals on mobile
  • Outdated plugins are a common WordPress attack vector
  • Schema markup bolted on, and the platform fights you the whole way
Our Next.js build
  • Modern stacks like Next.js are built for Core Web Vitals, not patched into it
  • No plugins to update or patch, no database to attack
  • Full schema markup baked into every site, not bolted on

Why the team beats one service

One service plugs one leak. The team plugs them all.

A new website on its own is not the full system. The Google profile, reviews, content, and phone path have to tell the same story when a customer is ready to call.

Your Google profile is the first impression.

Customers scan hours, services, photos, and reviews before they ever reach your homepage.

Your reviews are what people and AI quote.

Review velocity, responses, and on-site review content help customers and AI assistants decide whether you are credible.

Your phone is where ready leads vanish.

When someone finally taps Call, the system has to answer, qualify, and route the lead before they try the next name.

Common questions

How does setup work?

We need Manager access to your Google Business Profile so we can post on your behalf, reply to reviews, and keep your listing current. Here is how to add us in about 60 seconds.

  1. Open your Google Business Profile. Go to business.google.com and sign in with the Google account that owns the profile.
  2. Click the three-dot menu next to your business name, then choose Business Profile Settings.
  3. Click “People and access,” then click Add.
  4. Enter our email address:
  5. Choose “Manager” as the role (not Owner), then click Invite.
  6. We will accept the invitation and confirm by email, usually within one business day.
Your profile stays yours. Manager access lets us optimize your listing, publish posts, and respond to reviews. It does not let us transfer ownership, change billing, or add other people without your approval.
No. Manager access lets us post updates, reply to reviews, and optimize your listing. You stay the Owner. We cannot transfer ownership, change billing, or add anyone else without your approval.
Most clients finish the intake form in under 10 minutes. We need your GBP access plus a few details about your services. After that, your first posts and review automations go live within one business day.
